I collected the captured images of both the
opening and closing of the Titan Arum inflorescence and put them into a
Flash animation after using PhotoShop to color correct some of the images.
The opening sequence taken at five-minute intervals runs from 1:20 PM
through 11:22 PM Saturday, June 21, 2008. The closing sequence taken
at ten-minute intervals runs from 1:00 AM through 6:30 PM Sunday, June 22,
2008. The black and white images at night were taken with the
infrared-capable camera using its own infrared source for illumination.
Kinda neat!
