Matthew Beck: I have been a part of the club now for 3 and a half years in which I have served in three positions. I have been Educational Chairman, Vice President, and now President. I have currently taken the role as President because I wanted to better myself as an individual, and as a leader. I have taken on a responsibility that I am held accountable for and I enjoy that. I have greatly enjoyed my time with the Economics Club and would recommend it to anyone. |
Kelli Mayes: I joined Econ Club when I was a sophomore. Since I was new to the Economics major I thought it would be a good way to meet my colleagues. After joining the club, elections were held and I was voted Social Chair. My job consists of planning and organizing social events such as picnics and other outings. I think events are very important to the Economics Department as it brings faculty and students together outside of the traditional school setting. |
