Purpose
EC2TM was formed by a steering committee of ten persons in November of 1992. The organization serves an area of East Central Illinois within an approximate radius of 60 miles from Charleston. Membership includes educators from the elementary through high school level, plus teacher educators. EC2TM is dedicated to excellence in mathematics education. The group's major activities are dinner programs, each held in a different location, to assure that more educators can attend.
Why Join?
... Because you are a professional ... Because you enjoy the fellowship of other mathematics educators ... Because of the knowledge that is shared ... Because your help is needed to improve mathematics education ... Because you will receive notices of each meeting, with directions, maps and other professional information ... Because you will receive credit toward recertification
Please share this information with your friends. Non-members are always welcome to attend meeting. If you have any ideas for meeting topics, or questions, or concerns, please contact the 2000-2001 EC2TM President:
