Tower Dining Center Construction

A major remodel of the Tower Dining Center, now known as the Stevenson Tower Deli and Stevenson Grill, Etc., will include, amongst other things, larger serving and more comfortable seating areas. The serving area was expanded to make room for new equipment, and the traditional serving line has been replaced by a number of “service points” - with each point serving a different menu item. This change eliminates, or greatly reduces, the amount of time students will spend in line.

Privacy walls, designed to separate the dining areas from the flow of traffic, along with other atmospheric changes, should provide a welcoming atmosphere in which to dine. The addition of booth seating and fresh, new lighting help round off these changes.

The ever popular Stevenson menu will return, with make-your-own waffles and made-to-order deli sandwiches (hot or cold), omelettes, and breakfast burritos leading the way. We’ll also be adding pancakes, and two more made-to-order options - quesadillas and noodle bowls. The new menu options, especially the noodle bowls, are expected to be big hit. You pick the pasta, veggies, meat (or not) and we will add the broth or grill it so you can “get your noodle on!”

The project, which began over the summer months, is expected to reach completion shortly after the beginning of the academic year.
