- Passavant Area Hospital is a 168 bed hospital serving
the West Central Illinois counties of Morgan, Cass, Greene, Scott
and Macoupin. A staff of 600 employees, both full and part time
supports Passavant. We are accredited by JCAHO and a member of
the Illinois Hospital Association, the American Hospital Association
and Voluntary Hospitals of America. In addition to providing
emergency and acute hospital care, Passavant is a Level 11 Trauma
Center and provides services such as Cardiac Rehabilitation,
Oncology Clinic, Sleep Apnea Study Clinic, Rural Health Center,
Transitional Care Unit, pacemaker program, Pain Control clinic
and wound/ostomy treatment.

Food Service Management
A variety of experiences are offered in 15 day selective patient
menu. Full service cafeteria. In house catering.
Clinical Rotations
A comprehensive experience in all aspects of clinical nutrition
is provided through:
- Inpatient care including critical care, medical/surgical,
maternal/child, pediatric.
- Outpatient care including diet counseling for oncology, renal
disease, diabetes, gestational diabetes.
- Community services including diabetes support, weight management
classes, health fairs, supermarket tours and nutrition education
for local school systems.
