Graduate School Admission
Admission Sequence and Requirements
Submit the following to the Graduate School:
- A Graduate School admission application to the Office of the Graduate School, Eastern Illinois University, 600 Lincoln Avenue, Charleston, IL 61920. You can choose to print an application and mail it in, or apply online.
- An official transcript showing the completion of a baccalaureate degree with the following GPA:
- 3.0 is the preferred GPA for admission.
- 2.75 or above = Full Admission
- below 2.75 = Provisional Admission (must earn 3.0 in first 12 semester hours of CSD graduate work to obtain full admission)
The Graduate School will send the items above to the Department of Counseling and Student Development. NOTE: These items must be received by the CSD department no later than March 1. Priority WILL be given to College Student Affairs applications received by February 20, 2012! Please work with the Graduate School to insure their prompt arrival.
