Welcome to the website of the Department of Counseling and Student Development at Eastern Illinois University, designed to provide information on our graduate degrees in Clinical counseling, School counseling and College Student Affairs.
The programs in the Department of Counseling and Student Development are designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge, and competencies needed to function effectively as a counselor or student affairs professional. Graduates of our program go on to successful careers in the Counseling and Student Development fields.
Our School Counseling and Clinical Counseling programs are CACREP approved ensuring quality training and low faculty-to-student ratios. The College Student Affairs program follows CAS standards and is a leader in innovative programming.
A majority of our courses are offered in the evenings and weekends to meet the needs of working adults.
