The EIU Civil Service Council is seeking nominations for an Alternate member from District 2 (Vice President for Business Affairs) and Distict 3 (Vice President for Student Affairs). Please consider applying for the Alternate position with the Council if you are employed by EIU as a

•  non-negotiated permanent and continuous non-union,
•  non-academic employee, excluding off-campus contract appointments; and
•  you work in the area of District 2 (Vice President for Business Affairs), or District 3 (Vice President for Student Affairs)

A nomination form can be obtained by visiting our Council website at www.eiu.edu/~council (click on the link located on the left side menu) or by contacting Amy Richardson at asrichardson@eiu.edu or 581-8384. The deadline to submit the nomination form is Friday, October 31, 2008. In the event we have more than one nominee, the Council will make its selection at our November 4, 2008 meeting.
