Study Abroad
The Department of Communication Studies encourages students to participate in study abroad opportunities. There are few experiences that can enhance a university education as much as studying abroad. The two broad programs available are short-term, faculty-led programs with semester- or year-long options.
In 2012, the department is planning Study Abroad trips to two new locations: Germany and Ireland.
2012 Study Abroad Trip to Ireland: "Exploring Irish Culture & Communication"
Tentative plans call for the trip to leave on May 12th and return on June 6th of 2012. The faculty coordinators for the Study Abroad trip to Ireland are James Coleman and A. J. Walsh.

Tentative plans call for the trip to leave on May 13th and return on May 30th of 2012. The faculty coordinator for the Study Abroad trip to Germany is Dr. Olaf Hoerschelmann.
