Funeral services scheduled for Professor Emeritus Norman Greer

Former Eastern Illinois University Communication Studies Professor Reverend Dr. Norman Greer passed away Saturday (June 18th) in Conyers, Georgia.  He was 57 years old and had been battling ALS Disease for the past several months. 

Dr. Greer was a member of the Communication Studies faculty at Eastern from 1995 until his retirement in 2009.

Funeral services for Dr. Greer are scheduled for Saturday (June 25th) at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 918 Looney Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee.  A viewing and wake will be held Friday (June 24th) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 590 T.M. Henderson Avenue in Memphis.
