For the second year in a row, WEIU-TV News Watch has won an Emmy Award for Best College TV Newscast in the midwest.
Eastern's student-produced newscast won a Mid-America Regional Emmy as the top college newscast in Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas. News Watch beat out the University of Missouri, which was also a finalist for the award. WEIU also won the award in 2009.
