Students to share research on renewable energy
Students from Eastern Illinois University will share their research relevant to E.I.U.'s new Renewable Energy Center at a special event Monday evening (November 7th).
The Integrative Learning and Renewable Energy Research Presentation will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday in the Arcola-Tuscola Room of the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union. It will feature students from the Introduction to Speech Communication Honors class, taught by Dr. Richard Jones, plus students from Eastern's School of Technology.
The event is a collaboration with the Center for Clean Energy Research and Education (CENCERE). Students will present work they have done related to renewable energy including an overview of the biogassification process, the impact of the green movement on schools, green architecture, and the potential of corn as a biomass fuel.
The event is free and open to the public.
