About Our Program

The Communication Disorders and Sciences program:

• Typically enrolls 150 undergraduate majors.
• 50 full-time graduate students.
• New modifications for the CDS Graduate Program begining in the Summer 2008 Semester.
• During the last 5 years, students have achieved a 95% pass rate on the first attempt of the National Certification Exam in Speech-Language Pathology.
• A 100% pass rate on the first attempt of the Illinois School Certification Exam.
• Most of our students interview and secure positions prior to the time their degrees are completed.
• The Department can boast of a 100% job placement of graduate students in the past 15 years!
