Outstanding Faculty Award for the College of Sciences
The College of Sciences Student Advisory Board (COS-SAB) recognizes an outstanding faculty member from the College of Sciences each year. The award recipient is honored at the annual ScienceFest event by the nominating student or COS-SAB member.
To submit a nomination:
1.) Answer the 4 short answer questions
2.) Write an optional essay
3.) Hand-in to the College of Science Office (2118 Old Main)
4.) Provide cover page with contact information (name, e-mail, and number)
Nominations are due Friday, March 2, 2007. Electronic applications can be obtained from the COS-SAB website at http://www.eiu.edu/~colsci/sabcos/sab.htm. It is recommended that applications be typed; however, written applications are accepted. If you choose to type this nomination, please limit your response to 4 pages double-spaced.

2.) What have you learned from this professor? How did they facilitate your learning?
3.) What has this professor done to impact students through other services outside of the classroom (i.e. Registered Student Organization involvement, research, field experience, advising, etc.)?
4.) How has this professor impacted your future career goals? How has this professor assisted you in achieving these goals?
5.) Optional essay in which additional information about the nominated professor may be included. (i.e. contributions to his/her field of study or other relevant information)
