Student Assistance Award

 

The College of Sciences Student Advisory Board is offering this award to students who have had to overcome some type of hardship or adversity during their college career in order to continue their education. The award be presented at the College of Science’s annual ScienceFest on March 31.

 

Criteria and requirements for this application are as follows:

1)      2.5 GPA

2)      Be an undergrad with at least sophomore status and a student at the time of the award

3)      Have a declared major in the College of Science.

4)      Completion of the application questions (attached).  Typed applications are recommended; however, legible written applications are acceptable.  If you choose to type this nomination, please limit your response to 4 pages double-spaced. 

5)      Recommendation (attached) from an EIU professor.

 

Applications are due March 21, 2006 by 4:00 p.m.  Electric applications can be obtained from the COS-SA website at http://www.eiu.edu/~colsci/sabcos/sab.htm.
