Mr. Rogers has been a member of the faculty at Eastern Illinois University since 2003.  He serves student teachers in the central and southern part of the state.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Oakland City University; Master of Science in Elementary Education as well as Educational Administration from Eastern Illinois University and has completed advanced graduate work at Southern Illinois University and University of Illinois.
 
Rogers has had a variety of assignments ranging from elementary, middle level, high school, and junior college classroom teacher, coaching, building principal, and assistant Regional Superintendent.  He and his wife Ginny have three children, a Medical Doctor, an Attorney, and a School Administrator.  They have been blessed with eight grand children ranging from preschool to graduate school.
