POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Eastern Illinois University
Position: Health Studies – Community Health/School Health, tenure track position available.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include teaching School Health Methods, Health Concepts for Teachers, Human Sexuality, service on departmental/college/university committees and active research in the health discipline. Teaching experience OR experience in a community health agency is considered a plus. Duties also include an active research agenda and a commitment to service at the department, college, university and community level.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess Ph.D. or equivalent in a health education related discipline OR be ABD prior to start of the Fall 2010 academic year as well as a minimum of three years teaching experience in a university/public school setting OR 3 years experience in a community health agency.
Starting Date: August 16, 2010
