Pete Grant is currently the Director of Digital & Multimedia Services for the Center for Academic Technology Support (CATS). He has a Bachelor of Arts in English (2001) and a Master of Science in technology (2003), both from EIU. His duties include:
- Video production (instructional & training media, marketing/promotional, docmentaries, informational, presentations & other events, etc.)
- Analog to digital conversions (i.e., VHS to DVD).
- Assisting faculty with use of digital content for instructional purposes (i.e., media for Online Learning)
- Mass digital duplication (i.e., CD and DVD).
- Overseeing the captioning process of media to meet state accessibility standards for the classroom and external audiences.
- Consulting with campus constituents on a variety of digital and multimedia-related issues on campus.
- Conducting training for staff and faculty on campus in the use and principles of digital and multimedia-related technologies.
