Internships are an excellent tool for employers because they:
- Provide extra or seasonal help to address specific projects or workload increases.
- Allow for a preview of a candidate's work ethic and performance prior to extending an offer of employment.
- Enhance your company's name recognition on campus.
- Strengthen relationships with college and faculty.
- Provide a free, campus-based resource to advertise the virtues of employment with your organization.
Increase your visibility among our top graduates by posting your internship program and vacancies with Career Services. We will retain your internship listing for 12 months, unless otherwise indicated. Your internship program will be available to our students online through Panther Recruiting as well as a listing, cross filed by major, in hard bound manuals in our Career Library.
Students are available for internships during the fall, spring and summer semesters. Many internships are paid a salary or stipend, however some internships are not compensated. Intern candidates may also receive academic credit for their experience.
Career Services welcomes internship and seasonal job postings on a continuous basis. Send us your internship listing via Panther Recruiting or by email to Debbie Endsley, ddendsley@eiu.edu.
