Payment Information

Payment may be made by cash, personal check, money order, or cashier check made payable to “Eastern Illinois University” at the Cashier’s Office in Old Main or at the Student Union. A personal check, money order or cashier check may be mailed to Cashier Office, Eastern Illinois University, 600 Lincoln Ave, Charleston, IL 61920. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted for payment at the Cashier Office, via the web or through the telephone payment system. The Cashier Office in Old Main is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. The Cashier at the Union is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm.

In order to pay on the web sign on to PAWS, select Student, then Student Account, then Make a Payment. If you have a balance on your account you will see the following “Your account has the following charges” with a description “General Payment”, and the total due on your account. Click on General Payment, leave the amount as is or change it, add to your shopping cart and then checkout.

Our automated telephone payment system is still available by calling (866) 553-8011. You will need your Eastern ID# (E#) to use the telephone payment system. When making a general payment on your account press 3 twice after entering your ID#.
