All businesses and organizations depend on information systems to organize and maintain the data needed for decision-making. The Management Information Systems (MIS) major prepares students to design, develop, and manage information systems within organizations. MIS majors develop a foundation of business knowledge and skills that is complemented by more in-depth study of information technology. Many majors choose to double major within the School of Business or choose a minor that enhances their career opportunities.
