Minor in Management Information Systems

Students who complete the Management Information Systems (MIS) Minor gain the knowledge and skills to understand computer technology and effectively use information systems. The MIS minor requires completion of a core of five courses (16 semester hours) plus 6 semester hours of approved electives (9 semester hours for business majors).

Non-business majors--including students enrolled in the Minor in Management Information Systems--may complete no more than 25% (30 semester hours) of undergraduate course work in business courses. Business courses include courses with any of the following prefixes: BUS, ACC, AIS, COM, CIS, FIN, MAR, MGT, and MIS.
