Business Core Learning Goals

Upon completion of the business core curriculum, business majors will:

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of functional areas of business by analyzing and evaluating organizational strategies and formulating alternative courses of action.
  • Understand the contemporary global environment and its dynamic relationship with domestic business.
  • Recognize and analyze ethical and legal issues in the business decision-making process.
  • Understand the role of technology in organizations and use technology effectively.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Solve problems through effective decision-making.
  • Collaborate with others to achieve common objectives.
