With a little help and motivation, a person can make their dream a reality. Our goal at the Center is to help guide you on your path. We are excited about a new youth initiative - Coles County Entrepreneurship Class, which is modeled after the successful CEO Class in Effingham. This class will reach our youth in their high school years when they are exploring where they want to be in life. Our goal is to teach Entrepreneurship to junior and senior Charleston, Mattoon and Oakland High School students. $165,500 has been committed by more than 60 businesses and individuals to create the class starting the 2012 school year.

The Center can play a key role in providing information to support business decision making. The Center is committed to working in collaboration with existing businesses, economic development associations, the chambers of commerce and governmental agencies that support initiatives to enhance the economic vitality of our region.
