Disabled Users

Booth Library is accessible to disabled individuals via the south entrance. A visual aid reader is available near the Reference Desk. Booth Library's TTY (text writing telephone) number is 581-6072.

Lost and Found

Items found throughout the Library are held at the Circulation Desk.

Telephones

A campus/local telephone is available at the Information Desk, located at the north entrance to the library. Campus phones are located near the elevators on each level.

Change Machine

A change machine is located on the 3rd floor near the Circulation desk in the copy room. This machine will change the following:

One quarter = 2 dimes, 1 nickel

$1.00 bill = 3 quarters, 2 dimes, 1 nickel

$5.00 bill = 19 quarters, 2 dimes, 1 nickel

$10.00 bill = 40 quarters

$20.00 bill = 80 quarters

Change may also be obtained at the bank in the Martin Luther King Student Union.

Photocopying

Photocopy machines are located on all levels by the elevators and two locations on the 3rd floor. Cost is $.05 per copy. Microform printers are located in the microform collection room on the first level. Cost is $.10 per copy. It is the responsibility of the individual to comply with U.S. Copyright Law, which is posted near each machine.

Book Detection System

A security system is located at both the north and south exits. Chimes will sound if a patron exits with library materials which are not properly charged out. The patron must then return to the appropriate desk to have the materials charged out. As stated in the Student Conduct Code, the unauthorized taking of University, private, or public property and/or possession thereof is prohibited.
