Biological Sciences Major Scholarships

Undergraduate Research Awards  

Description: Monetary research awards for undergraduate students. Research projects must be supervised by a Department of Biological Sciences faculty or staff member. There are normally three rounds of application deadlines.

 Academic Awards Competition

Description: Each year, approximately $45,000 in scholarships are awarded to 25-30 students enrolled in the Biological Sciences and Pre-Health Professions Programs at EIU. Students fill out a single application to be considered for one or more of over ~40 awards. The submission deadline is the 4^th Friday in February.
