Interim Associate Chair of Biological Sciences

 

Dr. Marjanovic is an animal physiologist with specific interest in comparative and adaptational physiology. She teaches courses in general biology, animal physiology and comparative animal physiology. Her research projects are on the cellular mechanisms of freeze-tolerance and freeze-avoidance in vertebrates, and physiological adaptations in mammalian hibernation.
