Report: The Butterfly House, February 21, 2004 Fifteen GPBC members
visited The Butterfly House in St. Louis and were treated to high numbers
of spectacular tropical butterflies (see pictures below). Additional
exhibits of "Shudder Bugs" displayed a variety of non-butterfly invertebrates,
including cockroaches, scorpions, and leeches. In their large greenhouse,
we had fun watching small quail run around on the ground. But the
real showstoppers were the butterflies!
