Graphic Design Alumni Exhibition

Works by EIU alumni spanning two decades make up this exhibition curated by EIU Associate Art Professor Mary Leonard-Cravens and Sam Tableriou. 

Included are web design, digital illustration, animation, and film, along with printed pieces and designs. This program is funded in part by the College of Arts & Humanities Excellence in Fine Arts Visiting Artist Fund and presented in cooperation with the EIU Art Department.  Click here for more information.

Join us for the Art Department’s 23rd Annual Holiday Art Sale at the Tarble Arts Center, 2010 South 9th Street, Charleston.  There will be a large selection of original art and fine crafts by area artists.  Proceeds support the EIU Art Department Scholarship Fund.  For more information, contact the Art Department at 217-581-3410.

 

2010 Undergraduate All-Student Art Show

February 27 - March 28, 2010
Tarble Arts Center - Eastern Illinois University

The Undergraduate All Student Art Show is open to any person who is pursuing an undergraduate degree and has enrolled in at least one EIU studio art course on or after June 1, 2009.  All works must be original, completed within the last two years at Eastern and not previously exhibited at the Tarble Arts Center.  Click here for more information.

 

2010 Summer Sculpture Residency & Exhibition Program

The Art Department along with the College of Arts and Humanities and the Graduate School are pleased to announce the third year of the EIU Summer Sculpture Residency Program.  Designed to offer graduate-level sculpture students the opportunity to design, construct and display a large-scale sculpture utilizing the facilities of the newly-remodeled Doudna Fine Arts Center.  Application deadline:  February 12, 2010.  Click here for more information.
