Homecoming 2017 "Let the Good Times Roar"
Homecoming is a great time for alumni to return to campus, reconnect with friends, visit old stomping ground and enjoy events full of school spirit and excitement.
Saturday, October 21
9am Homecoming Parade: 6th & 7th Streets The EIU Homecoming Parade is an annual tradition consisting of over 100 campus/community entries. A grand marshal, distinguished EIU Alumni, decorated cars, bands, floats and more will be on hand.
11am Alumni Tent City: Behind O'Brien Stadium Come enjoy all that is happening at Billy's Backyard Tailgate. Each college will have a tent for their alumni, stop by and meet faculty, staff and current students. Also, be sure to stop by the alumni tent for lunch compliments of the EIU Alumni Association.
2pm Homecoming Football Game EIU to host Jacksonville State for the 100th Homecoming football game. Purchase tickets by calling 217-581-2106 or purchase your tickets at the gate.
6pm EIU Alumni Association Award Dinner The EIU Alumni Association will be honoring nine alumni during the 2017 Alumni Awards Dinner.
