Minor in Africana Studies is available to all undergraduate students regardless of major. The requirements consist of 18 credit hours.

Prior to registering for AFR 4300, students must have completed 75 hours, AFR 2500 or equivalent,
and Africana Studies core courses (Majors: AFR 1000G, 2000G, 2200G,2500, 3500, and HIS 3750;
Minors: AFR 1000G or 2000G, and AFR 2500) or have permission from the Director of Africana Studies.
