“Top Five" Contest
The School of Continuing Education is holding a “Top Five” contest again this year and the prize will be a gift card at EIU's bookstore. Please submit the “Top Five ways Nontraditional Students can get involved on campus” to Peggy Hickox(pahickox@eiu.edu)no later than Monday, October 24, 2011, at 4 p.m.The winner will be chosen and recognized on November 10, 2011,during the Open House Awards for Excellent Service to Nontraditional/Commuter Students
Honor a Faculty Member and Campus Department
If you would like to honor a faculty member and an EIU office that have been helpful to nontraditional students, here’s your opportunity. If you are a nontraditional student and would like to submit a name to be considered for these annual awards, please send an email to Peggy Hickox at (pahickox@eiu.edu). In the email, please include the name of the faculty member or the office, as well as a brief statement about why you feel they are deserving of the award. Nominations must be submitted no later than Monday, October 24, 2011, at4 p.m.
