The purpose of this program of advanced studies is to further the professional abilities and scholarly preparation of teachers at levels ranging from preschool through the middle school level. Specialist Degree in Educational Administration
This degree provides the necessary coursework for graduates to secure the Illinois State Board of Education Certification to be a Superintendent of Schools. In addition to successful completion of the program, two years of full-time administrative experience and successful completion of the Illinois Superintendent Certification Test are required for certification.
