Give a Gift


Education is the key to everyone’s future.  The School of Continuing Education (SCE) is fully committed to serving the lifetime learning needs in our region.  Please join us in this commitment by making a tax-deductible gift to the School of Continuing Education today.  There are many ways to give to the School of Continuing Education:

Check – Make your check payable to the EIU Foundation and write where you want it directed to on the memo line of your check. 

Credit Card – Using Visa, MasterCard, or Discover, you can call us toll free at 866-581-3313 to make a gift.

Online Giving – Click here to be taken to our secure site and give a gift to Eastern Illinois University online.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) – Through EFT, you can spread the cost of your annual support over the course of a year by authorizing your bank to transfer to Eastern a monthly amount that you’ve predetermined.  Just click here for the Electronic Funds Transfer form. 

Payroll Deductions (for EIU employees only) – Through payroll deductions, you can spread the cost of your annual support over the course of a year by authorizing the Payroll Office to transfer to Eastern a monthly amount that you’ve predetermined.  Just complete a Payroll Deduction Authorization Card and forward it to the Payroll Office.

Gifts-in-Kind – You may make a gift of stock, real estate, artwork, vehicles, equipment, technology, software, consumable supplies, etc.

Planned Gifts – You may make a gift to EIU in your estate plans.  Planned gifts include bequests in your will, life insurance, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, etc.  Some planned gifts provide an income and tax deduction to you during your lifetime and then, at death, make a gift to EIU.  For more information about planned gift opportunities, please contact:  Nancy C. Alumni and friends of the School of Continuing Education who make annual gifts to SCE are recognized in SCE’s Lifelong Learning Society:

            Dean’s Level    $100
            Member’s Level  $30

Those in both levels of giving receive the SCE newsletter and other publications.  Those in the Dean’s Society are invited to an on-campus reception.
