The Alternative Bachelor's in Childcare Education
The Alternative Bachelor's in Childcare Education is an Associate’s to the Bachelor’s Degree Program for Childcare Professionals and is now offered through the School of Family & Consumer Sciences and the School of Continuing Education. The ABC Program is an Illinois Director Credential entitled program. Successful completion of the ABC program entitles you to apply for the Illinois Director Credential Level II. Bachelor of Arts in General Studies Degree Program
This program offers maximum flexibility for working adults who seek to complete an undergraduate education. This program is available at all off-campus sites. For more information contact Dr. Carrie Johnson at 217/581-5618.
Bachelor of Science in Business
This program is designed for adult learners who have completed an associate degree (or equivalent). Courses will be offered on weekday evenings to accommodate the schedules of working adults. Bachelor in Organizational and Professional Development
This program is designed for adult learners who can earn credit for work-related experiences. Learners must also complete all university general education and graduation requirements as well as specific Career and Organizational Studies core courses. Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
This program is designed to offer education students the flexibility of completing an elementary education degree at off-campus sites. Students must also complete all general education requirements, be admitted to teacher education, and complete all graduation requirements. Students will have their transfer courses evaluated by the Dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies or designated representative.
