The Office of Admissions invites and encourages prospective students
and their families to visit campus. Our office, located in 1230
Old Main, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Effective Monday, May 5th, the University will
begin summer hours. While the Office of Admissions will remain open
Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the rest of the University
will close at noon on Fridays. If you would like to schedule a visit
on a Friday, please call our office at the number listed below.
Admission counselors are available to discuss
admission requirements, financial assistance, housing, academic
programs and any other interests you may have. If you would like
to speak with an admission counselor, please arrive 30-45 minutes
prior to your tour time.
Campus visits can be arranged by completing our online
reservation form or calling the Office of Admissions at 877-581-B
EIU (2348). Friday summer visits can
only be schedule by phone.
If you require accessibility accommodations please contact our
office prior to your visit. We do request 48 hours notice when scheduling
your tour.
