Welcome to your first step in becoming EIU. We are thrilled you are considering Eastern Illinois University for your college education.
EIU is on rolling admission meaning we will accept applications as long as space permits. There is not a set deadline to apply.
Note: Students applying as transfers (completed college credit after graduating from high school) are not required to complete the personal statement on the application.
We are currently accepting applications for summer, fall 2009 and spring 2010. The Gateway program for fall 2009 is closed.
We will begin accepting applications for fall 2010 after August 1, 2009.
