Open House Information

Sign up for an open house today!
Come see for yourself all that Eastern has to offer. While you're here, you will have an opportunity to meet with faculty and/or student service personnel, hear from financial aid, housing and current EIU students, tour campus, the residence halls and Greek Court. We will even provide a complimentary lunch in our dining centers.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Doundna Fine Arts Center. EIU Parking is available in any student or staff lot. Please be sure to park only in designated University lots. We recommend you park at Lantz Arena. Apartment buildings and off-campus businesses are not considered University lots. If you would like to come the night before, check out our "lodging information" link below. Be sure to mention that you are coming for an EIU Open House program.

We have designed the program to be flexible so that you can choose which sessions you would like to attend. Review the schedule, pick the sessions which are of most interest to you and plan your day accordingly. We do recommend that you plan to be here in time for our Welcome Celebration.
