8:25 and 9:30 a.m. Housing and Dining - Lantz Arena, south balcony Hear all about EIU's residence hall living and dining, the room assignment process and important deadlines.
9 - 9:30 a.m. Welcome Celebration - Lantz Arena Join the excitement and hear from our Director of Admissions and staff, how it feels to say “I am EIU.” Then we’ll get you going with an overview of the day’s events.

10:45 - 11:15 a.m. Gateway Program - Effingham Room, 3rd floor, Union Come meet with advisers and students, find out what is expected of you and have your questions answered.
11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Residence Hall Tours - simply go to the front desk any residence hall. Check out all your on-campus living options. Bring your measuring tape, camera and your imagination to visualize yourself in a room.
