Overview
Student will complete a course on careers in Kinesiology and a course on structural kinesiology, the study of muscles and movement. Teacher certification students will complete both lecture and activity classes to provide them with knowledge and experience in physical education for all grade levels. An interest in sports, coaching, and fitness would be important for students in this major. The Kinesiology and Sports Studies Department has outstanding faculty who have real-world experience and stay current and active in their field. The faculty involve students in research activities and have a genuine interest in the students success.
