8:15am Early Bird Housing Session, North balcony, Lantz Arena Hear all about EIU's residence hall living and dining, the room assignment process and important deadlines.
8:45 - 9:15am Welcome Celebration - Lantz Arena
9:25 - 9:50am Parents Session - gym floor, Lantz Arena Hear about the benefits of attending EIU, services provided, and outcomes expected. Q&A with President Perry
9:45am - 12:45pm Financial Aid, Housing and Dining, Student Accounts and Orientation - Grand Ballroom, 2nd floor, Union Speak to staff from Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Housing & Dining, and Orientation; review your financial aid award and explore options with a financial aid advisor. Student Accounts will be accepting enrollment deposits and initial housing payments.

10:00am - noon Technology Tours - MLK Union, first floor, Union Bookstore Let us show you our state-of-the-art-technology.
11:00am - noon Campus tours leaving from Vending Lounge, 1st floor, Union  
11:00am - 1pm Talk to a computer rep - MLK Union, first floor, Union Bookstore Learn about student computer discounts
11:00am - 2pm Residence Hall tours - simply go to the residence hall of your choice Check out all your on-campus living options. Bring your measuring tape, camera and your imagination to visualize yourself in a room.
11:30am - 2pm Complimentary lunch in Dining Services Join us for lunch at Taylor, Carman, or Stevenson Dining Center.

For Students
10am Hands on activities for admitted students (sign-up here) Choose from select departmental sessions offering hands-on activities to connect you to EIU's faculty, staff, student and majors. Choose the hands-on activities when you sign up for admitted student day. (Limit one activity)
11am Money Matters - Effingham Room Learn about budgeting, credit cards, and more.
11am Speed Mingling - University Ballroom, second floor MLK Union Make new friends in this fast–paced game.

For Parents and Families
10- 10:45am repeated 11 - 11:45am Parents Panel - Arcola/Tuscola Room, 3rd floor, Union Get survival techniques and advice from parents of our current students.
10 - 11am repeated at 11am. Lets' look at the landscape - Meet in Library Quad Parents and families will be guided by EIU's Master Plantsman, Larry Schobe, through campus, stopping along the way to learn about many of the beautiful plantings.
10 - 10:45am repeated 11 - 11:45am Leaving the Nest: Strategies to Empower Your Student to Fly - Charleston/Mattoon Room, 3rd floor, Union Tips to help both you and your student make the most of the college experience.
10am - 4pm Big Blue Sale - University Union Bookstore, 1st floor Union Parents will receive a coupon upon check-in at Lantz to be used toward the purchase price of one item.
