Library Quad

It's not uncommon to see friends kicking a hacky-sack around or impromptu games of touch football taking place on Eastern's Library Quad, one of the most visible -- and centralized --areas on campus. With the Martin Luther King Jr. University Union to the north and Booth Library to the south, many students find themselves strolling through this picturesque section of campus at least once a day. Other surrounding structures include the Doudna Fine Arts Center; Ford, McKinney and Weller residence halls; McAfee Gymnasium; and Eastern's new Commemorative Courtyard built as a lasting memorial to the University's more than 78,000 alumni, faculty, and friends.
