Facilities

The EIU Department of Theatre is housed in the Lumpkin Theatre Wing of the Doudna Fine Arts Center. Our performance spaces include The Theatre, a 290-seat proscenium, the Black Box, a flexible space that can be configured in various arrangements from arena to proscenium, and the Globe Studio performance laboratory. In addition to a traditional classroom, our instructional spaces include fully equipped scene and costume shops, a drafting/computer lab, and a makeup lab located within the Gabbard Green Room.
