Graduation Requirements

In addition to Eastern Illinois University's general education requirements, the graduation requirements for the OPD program include the following:

• A minimum of 120 semester hours of credit
• 25 semester hours of residency credit: EIU tuition fee courses
• 40 semester hours of upper division credit: 3000 to 4000 level courses
• 56 semester hours of senior institution credit (from a 4 year University)
• A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 and a GPA of 2.0 on all departmental courses taken (4.0 point scale)
• Electronic Writing Portfolio submission
