Eastern Illinois University's goal is to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and it has worked hard toward this goal. In order for this institution to achieve the highest level of sustainability possible, however, it's going to take an equal effort from you — EIU's students, staff and faculty.

The good news is this: you're already doing great! That doesn't mean you can't be even better, though. This section of the website will fill you in on how you can change some of your daily activities to have a significant impact on our environment, whether those habits relate to energy or water consumption, driving habits, and recycling.
