Grand Opening - 2 p.m, Oct. 7, 2011
Eastern Illinois University would like to invite you to the grand opening ceremony for its new state-of-the-art Renewable Energy Center. This much-anticipated event is scheduled for 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 7, 2011. This recent addition to EIU's extensive sustainability efforts is located at 2110 18th Street.
If you'd like an up-close look at this impressive facility, come early or stay late; guided group tours will be available beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the ceremony and also immediately afterward.
Parking for the grand opening proceedings is available in the Textbook Rental lot, located at 975 Edgar Drive. We'll provide shuttle service from that lot to the Renewable Energy Center.
