Established in 2007, the Dr. William Bailey Fund was created to enhance student research and learning through collaborative research with faculty. Appropriate uses of the fund include, the following types of program support: registration fees and travel support for undergraduate and graduate students to attend research conferences to present their research conducted in collaboration with Psychology faculty; study materials used in the collection of data in student research conducted in collaboration with Psychology faculty. If used for scholarship support, student recipient(s) shall meet the following eligibility criteria: the recipient must be a full-time student at EIU and be a declared major in Psychology. Recipient(s) must be a junior, senior, or graduate student at the time of award. Student(s) must work closely with Psychology Faculty on collaborative research projects. Preference will be given to students who are likely to publish an article or present a paper at a professional meeting in collaboration with Psychology faculty.
