Admission
Must be a continuing student or admitted or re-admitted to the University. A new undergraduate student must apply through Admissions; a new graduate student must apply through the Graduate School; a returning EIU student must apply for re-admission through the Office of the Registrar. A returning EIU student must apply for re-admission if (s)he has been gone from EIU for one entire term other than Summer. A student who needs admitted or re-admitted to the University should do this well in advance of the term of anticipated attendance.

Undergraduate Advisement
Must have met with advisor (if undergraduate student), and advisor must give student Alternate Pin number to use when registering for classes..

Clear Record
Must have a clear record with the University.

Registration
Must use the PAWS system, which can be accessed through EIU's home page or through Office of the Registrar's web page.

Net I.D. and Password
Must use established Net I.D. and password when signing into the PAWS system. If you do not remember your Net I.D. or password you will need to contact the ITS Help Desk at 581-4357(HELP) or go to Gregg Triad with a photo I.D.
