Regulatory Support Specialist
Function of Position
The Regulatory Support Specialist will be responsible for managing the daily operations of an asbestos and lead management program facilitating hazard assessment, encapsulation or removal of asbestos and lead containing building materials. The Specialist ensures the safety of the campus, employees, and public during building maintenance, repairs, renovations and new construction projects involving asbestos or lead. Additional tasks will include environmental permit compliance monitoring for regulated pollutants including air, water, solid waste disposal, mold source evaluation, appropriate mitigation, air sampling, and testing.
