Schedule

Registration start dates are staggered, depending on the student's class standing. Register on or after your scheduled time, according to classification based on the total hours earned and hours for which you are currently enrolled.

Drop - Removes course from student record. Billing is adjusted.

Withdrawal - Course remains on student record with a grade of "W".

You must drop a second-half-term course before it begins in order not to be charged for it.

Registration is done online using the Panther Access to Web Services (PAWS) system. For assistance in registering for your courses, contact the Office of the Registrar at 217-581-3831.

Late Registration

Fall late registration ends on August 23, 2013.
Spring late registration ends on January 17, 2014.

Register before the first class day to avoid the $25 late registration fee.

Weekend or Short-Format Classes

For weekend or short-format courses, the following will apply:

• For courses lasting more than two days, a student may register or drop the course through the first class day and withdraw from the second class day through the last class day.
• For courses lasting two days or fewer, a student may register for a course through the first class day. A student may drop such courses through the day prior to the first class day and may withdraw from the course the first class day through the last class day.
• A student may wait-list weekend or short-format courses through the day prior to the first class day.
